BinTube Usnet Search

As you may have noticed by now, BinTube's Usenet Search engine is no longer accessible for non members. This was not an easy decision for us, but it was a necessary action due to the proliferation of websites that specialize in linking to Usenet posts of questionable legality. Filtering out the questionable content based on post subjects being technically impossible, we had no other option.

Will you be introducing a search-only membership option?

I already have a Usenet access through a different company but would very much like to use your search facilities - even at a (small) cost.

We are considering a search-only membership option, but no decisions have been made yet.

Contact support and we may be able to work something out for you.

Since one needs to be a member to use the links to request assistance from support your suggestion above is a bit tricky.

I too would be interested of a search only account for low monthly cost.

I hope you consider this. The reason some users (me included) for choosing other news providers is most often influenced by how our ISP peers and what speeds we are able to get.

I'm using a different company for my usenet, if I buy your client, will that include your search and for how long?

Yes, if you buy the client you can search through the client and there is no expiration date. This might change in the future but users who have already purchased the client will not be affected by any future changes.

To use search on the web site you need an active BinTube Usenet account.
